So, with all the advancements in electronics over the last few years, are you still using paper charts or have you converted to an electronic format?

These days, many newer aircraft come equipped with a full glass panel cockpit.  Usually, the MFD (Multi-Function-Display), has built in charts for use as backup but paper charts are required to be onboard.  However, this may be about to change.  Last week, it was announced that through a joint effort of Executive Jet Management (EJM), the FAA and Jeppessen the “IPad” was approved to be used in EJM aircraft.  This is the first step in getting these systems approved for use in all aircraft.
