Utilizing a business aircraft can be one of the most efficient time management solutions an executive can use. Being able to create and manipulate a schedule, as needed, provides the flexibility businesses need.

Unfortunately, a vital component of the operation of business aircraft is becoming more expensive again. Aviation fuel is on the rise, being driven by world events along with increased demand.

The unsettled political issues in the middle-east, lead by European sanctions imposed upon Iran, and their threats to blockade critical shipping conduits have forced the world price for oil to increase in excess of 20% in less than a year.

We’ve recently seen retail jet fuel prices at some locations in excess of $8.55 per gallon. While contract providers allow for some discounts, our ongoing prudent flight planning continues to be a major factor in our flight planning process.

In addition to rising fuel cost, airport FBO facilities have started raising the cost of ramp fees  and the other services they provide.

We always do our best to plan and negotiate the best prices for fuel and services for each flight we provide. Even with the sky high cost of fuel, a business aircraft is still the most efficient choice.
